"I started my MBA program at Lansbridge in August 2005, my first experience at distance learning, because the travel needed in my employment prevented me from completing the MBA program I had started at a conventional university. I found the quality of the Lansbridge MBA program as good as, and in many ways better than, the conventional on campus program I left. The professors are knowledgeable and demanding, but fair, cooperative, thorough and focused on the students getting the benefits of the lessons.

A particular advantage has been that I have the flexibility to fit my study and class attendance into a work and travel schedule that has included extended periods in Kosovo, Sudan and Afghanistan plus Canada's north. Virtual classes with the professors are very interactive and the facility provided by that same classroom for group meetings is more effective than that provided by on-campus meeting areas. I have always felt that they enjoyed helping students and took pride in finding ways to solve problems. On a number of occasions the Learning Assistants went far out of their ways to ensure I received course reference material and even exams so that my course would not be interrupted. That included sending the hard copy of an exam to me as I passed through JFK in New York, so I could do the exam on the flight overseas.

With an MSc in engineering and experience in government and industry in Canada and internationally, I needed to augment my finance and accounting knowledge and gain better business understanding to achieve my goals. I have found the knowledge I gained in the Lansbridge MBA program has helped me considerably in this regard and I continue to benefit from this learning. I recommend the Lansbridge program without reservation to anyone who has the appetite and ambition to excel in this business environment, even if they have the option of an on-campus program."

"Living in Ottawa and having 2 Universities and a College nearby would make it seem obvious to some that the choice would be to do my schooling locally.
