Lately, I find that I am bombarded by invitations to join various social networks. Whether it be Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and so on, I am beginning to question how much time one seems to spend keeping their information current on these sites. Do companies now need to dedicate one employee with the duty of simply updating profiles and staying on top of comments and requests to join yet another group. Are these sites all beneficial, or are some just riding the coattails of those that are legitamate? As a marketer, how do you measure the value?
