Admission Requirements for MBA

Admission to this program requires:

  • At least one (1) year of full-time work experience; program is targeted at managers or aspiring managers
  • Two strong business and/or academic letters of reference giving an opinion on the applicant's likelihood of success in an MBA program
  • An undergraduate degree with at least a B average

Admission Requirements for EMBA

Admission to this program requires:

  • At least five (5) years of full-time work experience, including at least two years at the management level
  • Two strong references from current or past senior managers
  • An undergraduate degree with at least a B average

Language Requirements

As English is the language of instruction at Lansbridge University, all applicants, regardless of country of origin or of citizenship status, will be required to demonstrate competence in the English language prior to admission. Competence is expected in listening, reading, speaking, and writing.

If the candidate's first language is not English and/or the candidate is not proficient in English, a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of at least 80 (Internet-based Test) or 550 (Paper-based Test) or an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) minimum overall band of 6.5 is required.

Application Procedures


Application Fee:

Students applying for admission to Lansbridge University are required to remit an application fee along with an application form and official documents.

This non-refundable fee covers the cost of setting up a record for the applicant, evaluating his/her admissibility and issuing of admissions letters. An application is not considered complete and does not warrant any evaluation unless and until the fee is paid in full.

Application Procedures:

  1. Fill in the online or PDF version of the Application Form completely and accurately.
  2. Attach supporting documents.
  3. Submit the completed application package and the application fee to the Admissions Office. The application fee is a non-refundable processing fee.
  4. Applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Office. Qualified applicants will be given notification of the registration dates by e-mail.

Document Requirements:

Applicants are required to submit the following documents with their applications:

  1. Completed Application Form.
  2. Transcripts: Official (i.e. signed and sealed) transcripts for all secondary and/or post-secondary institutions attended.
  3. Original or notarized copies of graduation diplomas from previous studies.
  4. Applicants from outside Canada, whose documents are not in English, are required to provide a notarized translation of each document. Those applicants whose primary or native language is not English are also required to submit results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), if applicable.
  5. Two letters of reference (at least one needs to be a business or work reference.)

Applications will not be processed until all transcripts have been received. Students who are unable to submit transcripts should inform the Admissions Office to request a conditional application review.

Transcripts and other documents submitted become the property of Lansbridge University and will be returned to the student only upon request. In this event, the Admissions Office will make copies of non-replaceable documents for the student files, and the original documents will be returned.

The Admissions Office reserves the right to withhold the Letter of Acceptance until all required documents and fees have been received.
