Impending Partnership With The Canadian Forces
Lansbridge University and the Department of National Defense (DND) as represented by the Canadian Defense Academy are working through a review process that will conclude with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) under the partnerships provisions under the Canadian Forces (CF) continuing education program (CFCEP).
Before any signing can occur, the MOU must go through initial review by Canadian Defense Academy J4 Log and then the National Defense MOU Committee (NDMOUC) review. The review process will take between 3-6 months.
By signing this MOU, Lansbridge University would become a partner under the CFCEP whose objective is to provide further educational opportunities to CF members and their families and to DND civilian employees and their families. Individuals belonging to the above groups who meet the standard admission requirements of an educational institution and who enroll in one or more credit courses offered by Lansbridge institution are considered CFCEP partnership students under the agreement.
Lansbridge University is committed to strengthening the relationship between itself and the Canadian Forces. Lansbridge University offers a unique offering to members of the Canadian Military. CF members are by nature transient and often transfer from base to base in provinces all over Canada’s expansive geography. It is not feasible from them to pursue their educational goals at a traditional university where it is necessary from them to participate in-class. They need a program that can accommodate their life style and offer them ubiquitous access from anywhere in the world while maintaining a seamless transition in their transfer. Lansbridge University offers 100 per cent secure online delivery with absolutely no residency requirements.
